Storytellers in Motion, Series 3 continues its celebration of Canada's indigenous artists who work across media, from writers, producers and directors to video artists and the highly successful imagineNATIVE International Film & Video Festival in Toronto that provides an annual forum for works to be shown. In a special two-part program--Barry Barclay 1944- 2008: A Requiem-- the series pays tribute to this Maori filmmaker, the first indigenous artist to be invited to the Cannes Film Festival. The Indigenous Voice, Pt 3, sums up the final series in this significant body of work about the promising voice of indigenous cinema today.
